Helen was so kind and supportive from our first conversation, and Steve, who came to our home to help give Ember the loving and painless end she deserved was so calm, open, friendly and kind to both us and her, that we felt completely at ease. It's hard to feel happy about something so sad as the death of a beloved pet, but I genuinely feel happy that we discovered Gentle Journey Home and their services and it went better than we could have ever hoped for her last moments with us. When we had to have Ellie put to sleep, we were very worried about the stress that final journey of taking her to our vet would cause. Luckily we were able to have her put to sleep in the comfort of her own home with her family present. Steve was wonderfully kind and compassionate and respected our wishes throughout the process.
